Sixty-five years of goodwill, offline
The reputation was real. The site was not.
Satolli has been on High Street in Warren since 1960, and Eric Thompson has owned it since 1993. Forty-plus Tribune Chronicle Best of the Best awards sit behind the counter. None of that was reaching anyone searching for flooring.

What we were handed, and what we took on
The scope.
A flooring purchase starts online and finishes in a showroom, so the site's job is to get someone to drive to Warren. We rebuilt it around the product categories people actually search, put the showroom and the guarantee where they get read, and pulled the Google rating live from the Places API rather than freezing a number into the code that would drift and end up contradicting the profile it feeds.

The parts that took the longest
What we built.
Product category pages built for a local search
Carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, and tile, each anchored to Warren and Trumbull County rather than to nothing.
Live review data, not a frozen number
The rating comes from the Places API. A hardcoded count goes stale and then disagrees with the structured data Google reads.
The pet guarantee given its own room
If your pet stains it, they replace it. That is the strongest thing the store says and it was buried.
