The calls that come in at two in the morning
Built around a 24-hour trade.
AK Water Works runs plumbing, basement waterproofing, and water damage work across five Northeast Ohio counties. Emergency work is most of the value, so every decision on this build starts from the same question: does this get the after-hours call answered and booked.

What we were handed, and what we took on
The scope.
Alex Mantalis owns three companies out of one building in Warren, and the trades overlap. The site had to route a caller to the right entity without making them think about which one they need, and it had to keep the HVAC work flowing to the sister company rather than absorbing it. We run the site, the local search presence, the review program, the Google Ads account, and the phone routing behind all of it.
Services running on this account
The parts that took the longest
What we built.
The site itself
Next.js on Vercel, with an admin dashboard the office uses to post gallery work, coupons, and service areas without calling us.
County and city pages that are not filler
Each one carries service coverage that is actually true for that town, rather than the same paragraph with the name swapped.
Conversion tracking that reconciles
Calls, forms, and booked jobs tracked through to the CRM so the ad spend can be judged against work performed, not against form fills.
The phone system
Business-hours routing, an after-hours path, and an overnight fallback, so an emergency call never lands in a voicemail box nobody opens until Monday.
Other jobs that looked nothing like this one
More work.
