Choffin trains adults for Practical Nursing, Dental Assisting, Surgical Technology, EMT, Firefighter One, and a dozen more credentials, inside a public school district. The person applying is usually working a full shift somewhere else while they do it.
What we were handed, and what we took on
The scope.
This is a public institution, so the constraints are real: a district approval chain, student data that has to be handled correctly, and a payment path that has to serve both a self-paying student and an employer sending staff on a purchase order. We rebuilt the site off MODX onto Next.js and Supabase, and carried the application and payment flow across with the PO option added.

A purchase order path for continuing education
Employers sending staff through CE courses do not pay by card. The old system had no answer for that.
Program pages written for an adult learner
Cost, length, schedule, and what the credential actually lets you do, near the top, because that is the order the questions get asked in.
