The same man, sold to a different room
Speaker first. That reorder was the work.
Eric Thompson has performed since 1981, founded the Million Miles Million Smiles charity, done 100-plus shows across 20-plus countries, and served as a firefighter, an EMT, and two terms on Newton Falls city council. He was being booked as a magician.

What we were handed, and what we took on
The scope.
A corporate event planner and a bride are not the same buyer, and the second one was crowding out the first. We cut weddings and school messaging entirely, narrowed the site to corporate and faith-based events, and rebuilt the billing order so speaker leads every surface. The three keynotes became the product, with the magic as the delivery mechanism rather than the offer.

The parts that took the longest
What we built.
Three named keynotes instead of a services list
Million Miles Million Smiles, What Stage Lights Taught Me About Real Life, and Finding the Funny When Life Isn't. An event planner books a talk, not a skill set.
A booking flow aimed at a planner
Date, venue, audience, and format asked up front, because that is what an event planner has in hand when they start looking.
Two lanes only
Corporate and faith-based. Dropping the wedding and school work was the point, not an oversight.
